René's Kombucha is a pro-biotic cultured drink, based on a variety of organic teas. It is not pasteurised, nor filtered or carbonated and thus contains the full spectrum of live beneficial microorganisms present in the Kombucha SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast). In fact, every bottle of René's Kombucha contains a small SCOBY. The drink fizzes up naturally in the bottles and offers a mild sparkling experience combined with delightful flavours reminiscent of an old school ginger beer. The use of Tulsi/Holy Basil tea (an ancient Ayurvedic herb) in all our brews adds a great floral note and sets our Kombucha apart from any others on the market.

Where is it made?

Our production facility is nestled on 20 acres of organic pasture and old growth native bush, directly at the Kaipara Harbour. Beside our Kombucha production we raise a small herd of heritage Dexter cattle, Wiltshire sheep, Nubian goats, a motley crew of heritage chickens and our rescue puppy ‘Blossom’.

At any time, as an everyday refreshing drink or on social occasions.
